Many training opportunities are available on the local, State and Federal level for residents involved in activities of emergency management, including law enforcement, fire service, emergency medical services and other emergency responders. Applicants for some of the course offerings at the County, State, or Federal level, through FEMA's EMI--Emergency Management Institute in Maryland, may need to meet some prerequisites for the various courses being offered. Applications should be coordinated with the Hancock County EMA office.
